| Xmas Dinner by CHRISTINE FENWICK |
| My colleagues and I had the unfortunate experince of booking xmas dinner in November, and it was a disasterous experience. We were seated in the middle of the floor, with bar customers sitting on top of our shoulders, making it impossible to eat as we were getting constantly jostled by these passing customers. Also, due to the severe congestion in the place, a colleague ended up getting a bottle of soda water poured down her back, as the waiter had no room to move, he was jostled, and the water went down my colleague. Also, some morons at the bar decided to throw missiles into the crowd, which resulted in another of my colleagues almost being hit in the face with said missile, it missed, but it knocked over the glassware and resulted in water ending up all over another colleagues clothes.Sardines in a tin had more room to move than we did, obviously due to the current economic climate, you need the money, but this was ridiculous.People were just getting herded in like cattle.I will not be recommeding November to anyone else, nor will i ever give you my custom again. The only good thing in this debacle, was the waiters, who done a marvellous job,in such horrendous conditions. |
