Come and join, the traditional people of this land, in a specially crafted evening that lets you not only learn about Tjapukai Aboriginal culture, but also experience it in the most powerful and personal way. It's an experience that will leave you with a deep and lasting memory.

From the moment you arrive at Tjapukai you will feel the powerful and evocative Aboriginal spirit vibrate through the atmosphere, creating an intense and mysterious mood. Your Tjapukai staff then escort guests into the Magic Space; here the Quinkin spirits come to life taking guests on a journey through the Storywaters into the Dreamtime. Thunder and lightning herald the Gadja, a Dreamtime spirit in glowing, UV fibre-optic costume. A good spirit, he tells of the past. Suddenly, his opposite appears from nowhere the Quinkin towers 6 meters above the audience, bidding them to enter the past.

In the haunting Lakeside Ceremony guests form part of the Rainbow Serpent Circle and share in an Aboriginal Celebration consisting of music, chanting and dance that culminates in a magical fire making ceremony. The fire is sent soaring across the lake to where it contacts with the ancient tribal lands to become a magical fireball, illuminating the lakeside and the audience. The Tjapukai appear in a flame lit canoe, arriving to meet the guests at lakeside

Tjapukai carrying the flamelit torch up to the nights dining venue The Boomerang Restaurant, guides guests through the darkness up to the glowing restaurant. Here the evening culminates in a sumptuous international buffet menu. The lights dim and the Tjapukai take the stage, presenting their culture with their inimitable blend of theatre and humour. You will find yourself connecting with their love of fun and revelling the moment where there are no barriers, only joy and laughter.
