It neither looks nor sounds like a Chinese restaurant, but Romanee's Kitchen is proof that appearances can be deceptive. The seven-month-old restaurant in Lau Pa Sat looks like a Western cafe with its mostly small, rectangular tables (there are a couple of round tables) and a bar counter lining one corner of the modestly decorated room. And out of the speakers on the walls waft soft jazz music... The menu is mostly Cantonese, though you do get some local seafood dishes such as chilli crab and sambal mussels. | | |
