| Food, wine, ambience perfectly acceptable. An insufferable amount of cigarette and cigar smoke with no non smoking section. |

Went to Nero Vivo for the first time after hearing rave reviews. Sad to say I was sorely disappointed and was quite embarassed as I brought colleagues and clients to try out the place. To cut a long story short, my starter, which was foie gras came out looking like it had been freshly ripped out.....not a pretty sight. My main course which was rack of lamb came out raw and extremely salty though I asked for medium to well done. Only saving grace there was that the service was ok and the wine was good.
The bill came out to about RM600 for 4 people, and when we were abt to pay, they told us that the credit card machine was broken and needed us to fork out cash. They could have told us when we walked in the front door...but no, my clients had to chip in for payment though it was supposed to be on the company as my colleagues and I didn't carry much cash with us.
Never again....will I patronise Nero Vivo. They can only get away with that kind of restaurant quality here in Malaysia coz we're tolerant and nice people. They wouldn't survive 3 months in Singapore or any other proper developed countries. |
