I went with 3 friends to this place. We had a few bears and wanted to dance. We were not allowed to dance cause we dint have a female companion. there was no one else on the dance floor. When we requested the manager. He said " DO YOU WANT ME TO CALL A BOUCER"
Thats totally unacceptable. Food sucks. The rates are fine. But the service again Sucks.
I am heading towards RPM next weekend.

And folks there is nothing like F1 sports Bar in Chicane. they have 4 telivisions playing ESPN and TenSports and they call it sports Bar.
Totaly misguiding PPL....

It's a very chilled out joint. Can literally put your feet up on the sofas and chill.
A great place to hang-out with friends specially after a hectic day at work.
It's like a boy hang-out place.
Great music, good food, plenty of booze, great ambience and not too heavy on your pocketeither.
Fun to watch F 1 races here.
Saw the last years F1 races here too, had a ball.

Whatever this place may boast about, there is one word to start describing this place and that would be 'pseudo'. Perhaps it is the need and inclination of the business that they apparently are into. I visited this place for the Belgian GP.. with a Ferrari 1-2 at the starting grid but this is what I had to suffer:
1. Crowd was majorly over indulgent school kids.
2. Looks more like a disc even on the 'RaceDay'
3. Hardly audible is the volume of race commentary... and I guess for all F1 enthusiasts.. that is something pretty essential through the race.
4. Waiters and the manager hardly seem to be anywhere associated with F1 (the theme that they so much boast about)
5. The waiters as well as the staff (including the manager) are highly off-cooperation levels.
6. Is a sheer waste of money, time and you LOSE on the essence of the race in all aspects.
Visiting the place is entirely a personal choice, but as far as my suggestion goes.. I wouldnt commit the same mistake twice... One... was a little too muh to handle and I would have walked off had the race not held me. |
