| Lousy Restaurant - Arrogant, average food, bad experience by Prahlad Prasad |
| Recommend Dish(es): apetizers are ok |
Went with my wife for a relaxing evening on her birthday. Thought this was a fine dining place where we could have a relaxed dinner. I Was hoping to treat my wife to a special evening... but hounded out in 20 minutes. Faster than having a burger at KFC or McDonald.
We went early at 7:30 to be there before it got crowded. The place was only about 40% full. Our apetizer arrived in 2 minutes, when I asked for recommendation they probably gave something that was already prepared. My wife was going through the dessert menu, the waiter just pushed a plate and took the menu card she was going through from her. Another waiter served the apetizer. Even before we finished with the first serving, the main course arrived and it was hastily served. I had to stop them and ask them to serve it later.
We ordered in two rounds, first the apetizers and then the main course. I had also clearly instructed them to serve the main meal. But it was no use, they are far better than Irani restaurants in quickly making the table ready for non-existing customers
If you are business manager or vice president. Or if you are an NRI stay away. This serves either rich dinosaurs or rich traders kids who have no class only dress in western clothes. Anyone who has lived abroad or made a few visits abroad will throroughly detest this place.
This is my second such experience in the last two weeks. The other one was to take my friend out who is an IAS officer and got a posting in Hyderabad. He dropped by at my office, that is close to this restaurant and we came here and has a similar bad experience. |
