Excellent service and nice couple to run this place. We had our wedding supé here and they had arrange so nice table with flowers and hearts and baloons and so nice food.
Everytime we have been there everthing has been super. Good food and nice smiling faces!
We cant wait until we meet again! |

| We were refused a table at the restaurant this year even though the restaurant wasnt full the waiter said tables were reserved for european guests. Indians not served |

| do not bother with the mermaid restaurant this year as service is worse than 2009 food standard has fallen. three people in my party were ill after eating steak there. the staff are rude if you ask for extras or ice |

| consistant good food excellent desserts prepared personally by owner Katarina.we use the Mermaid regularly during our annual visits November through February every year.The owners Banno and Katarina work incredibly hard to please but yes they will not always please some people however hard they try.The Mermaid is always our first night out when we arrive in Goa,rollon November......here we come,20 years in a row!!! |

| Last season i ageee with the last comments the standards had dropped the prices were too high. the staff are rude and nowhere to be seen when you want service. we went to the bar to order drinks and the bar staff didn't seem to see us waiting i will not be recomending the mermaid restaurant |
