| Rudist treatment I have ever recieved in a restaurant. After waiting 2 hours for a table, we were seated, and about 3 minutes later the hostess informed me we needed to give up the table, because she made an error. It was clear that the assistant manager was trying to take care of a friend. We left and will never return, I hope it was worth it, I work as a travel director for an international corporation. I will spread the word to my friends and this joint will lose a lot of business. |

| Our experience there was a disaster from start to finish. We had just arrived in Niagara falls that evening and we had asked the front desk at our hotel for a great place to eat. They recommended Copacabana. It was in walking distace to our hotel and thought we would try it out. When we got there we were told the wait would only be 30 minutes. After 45 minutes had passed I asked the hostess when we would be seated and thought maybe we missed our buzzer going off. We were informed that we still had 5 more people in front of us and that we would be called soon. When I questioned other guests being seated before us that came in after us I was told that they had to seat larger parties first and that we were only a party of two and had to be seated in a booth. (They only have about 8 booths) A good thing to know before going!!! After 1 1/2 HOURS later I questioned them again and finally was told we were the next table. My husband and I thought about leaving however it was a Friday night, already 9pm and really didn't want to try and find another restaurant to eat at. Once we were seated the food was good or at least I think it was but we were starving at that time and anything would have tasted good. When we were finished we recieved our bill and gave the waitress our C/C. She came back and told us the credit card machine was not working right and it would only be a few minutes. 30 minutes go by and the manager comes over to apologize for the wait. We explained to hime that this was ridiculous and how long we had to wait in the beginning, he told us he would buy our drinks for the inconvenience. After 40 minutes of waiting for our credit card back, the bill comes with our drinks still on it. We complained to our waitress, who went to the manager but the manager did not have time then and said we would have TO WAIT!!!!!!!!!! In conclusion, we received nothing off our bill and wasted our first night in Niagara Falls, WAITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My recommendation is the food is just not that good for that kind of wait and the SERVICE and MANAGEMENT is the WORST we have ever experienced. |
| I drive in from Orchard Park New York once a year just for this restaurant, The food is always perfect and the staff exceptional. I would recommend this as your first choice for fine diing. |

| I love Brazilian Bar-B-Que restaurants, and have been to several throughout North America including San Diego, Los Angeles, Miami, Louisiana, Phoenix, and San Francisco. They were all excellent, but the Copacabana in Niagara, Ontario was in a different league. The food was spectacular, service was great (especially our waitress who was always refiling our drinks and clearing away dirty dishes), but what set this place apart last night was the live entertainment. This was the first really "fun" Brazilian restaurant I'd been to, and I loved the experience! I had a client with me who had never been to a Brazilian Bar=B=Que restaurant, and he was so impressed Saturday night he informed me we were coming back Wednesday evening as well! |
